Kindergarten Registration:
By NC State law, registration for kindergarten is open to all children who turn 5 years old on or before August 31.
Registration & orientation often occur in the fall and/or spring before a child is expected to enter kindergarten. This is a great way to ask questions and meet other parents going through the same transitions.
What to Bring for Registration:
· Proof of local residency (Utility bill)
· Child’s Birth Certificate
· Completed Health Assessment & Immunization Record signed by a physician or the health department
· If needed, custody papers
