Child Care Resource and Referral
(CCR&R) can help you, whether you are a parent or a business looking
to help employees with children reduce absenteeism and increase
productivity.
Caswell County CCR&R is devoted to
offering services and programs that make child care work better for
all families and the community. CCR&R offers information to
families on the availability of quality child care in Caswell
County, as well as support to licensed child care providers in
achieving the highest quality care. CCR&R on-site referral services
are available for businesses. Technical assistance is available to
potential child care providers to expand the availability of
licensed facilities.

CCR&R offers:

Star License Status
All Licensed child care providers are issued a star rating by the NC
Division of Child Development. The stars range from 1 to 5 stars
with 5 indicating the highest quality. As of July 2007 the status of Caswell
County's providers:
    Five
Stars- 1 Center, 1 Home
   Four
Stars- 2 Centers, 4 Pre-K Programs
  Three Stars-
2 Homes

Stars- 2 Centers, 1 Home

Resources
The Partnership maintains a resource library with books, videos, games,
theme boxes, prop boxes and other material that may be checked
out by child care providers or parents for a six week period. Child
care facilities can also use our mobile lending library in which
requested materials are delivered.
For those considering opening a child care facility, we offer a
Child Care Provider Resource Book, which is available for check out
as well.
The Partnership has a die cut machine with numerous dies including
letters, numbers, and popular shapes. This is a free resource
available to child care providers or parents. Construction paper and
foam paper is provided as well. A no-heat laminator is also
available for use.
