                         Standing Committees For The Partnership Include:

Community Awareness/Parental Involvement - This Committee develops and implements ways to broaden the general public's understanding of the Partnership and the services that it offers. Committee members provide input into the marketing tools of the Partnership and are always looking for ways to engage parents and the community for on-going input into needs of the community and the services being offered. This committee also represents the needs and ideas of parents at board meetings.

Evaluation Committee - The Evaluation Committee ensures that the Partnership is reaching and exceeding its goals and objectives, reviews and makes recommendations on Smart Start Request for Proposal/Application Process and reviews Smart Start quarterly and program monitoring reports. This Committee is charged with reviewing and monitoring reports from the Smart Start program evaluator.

Youth Committee - The Youth Committee plans for services and programs for children over 5 years of age. It also provides oversight of services and programs for youth and serves as the local adolescent pregnancy prevention council.

Planning Committee - This Committee assesses the Partnership's mission and vision statements annually. It also develops and reviews the goals, objectives and action strategies to accomplish the mission of the Partnership. The Planning Committee is responsible for developing and managing the strategic planning process. Current committee members include:

Fundraising/Grants - The Fundraising/Grants Committee recommends resource development goals, including private fund raising and public sources and develops plans and procedures to involve the entire board in fundraising. It also develops plans to solicit funds for the organization and diversify revenue to the partnership which include both restricted and unrestricted dollars.

Child Care Committee - These child care providers discuss the mutual needs of child care centers and homes in Caswell County and are responsible for bringing ideas and needs to the attention of the Board for consideration. This committee also designates a member of the committee to represent the interests and concerns of child care providers to serve on the Planning Committee.
